Courses can be tailor made to suit you and your groups’ needs.

Woodwork lesson structure:

• Currently our structure for woodwork lessons is quite flexible.
• We offer two options: a project or skills lessons, you decide.
• Get your own group of friends/family members together of a minimum of 4 people and then the course can be tailored to the group’s desires.

Guidelines for woodwork courses:

• Courses are run in the evenings from 17:30 – 20:00 for 4 consecutive weeks.
• We have a fixed hourly charge for 1-4 people maximum.
• Projects or skills lessons are pre-determined by each group.
• All tools and materials and refreshments will be provided.

At the head of the team founder, Rudolf Zuidema, has over two decades of woodworking experience.

He is classically trained and a fully qualified joiner/wood machinist, but above all else he has an infectious passion for innovation.

Rudolf has represented South Africa at the World Skills Olympics in Joinery where he finished in the Top 10.

During his training he spent time training under a British master joiner, refining his skills and learning traditional joinery techniques.

Investment into state of the art German machines and the very best tools has enabled the team at R.A. Woodcraft’s craftsmanship and skills to shine.

Rudolf’s moto is craftsmanship, integrity and sustainability and this embodied by all who work at R.A. Woodcraft.

We have an amazing team who receive continual training and skills development. Our team is dedicated and sensitive to doing all they do with meticulous attention. We source sustainable woods and finish our products in environmentally friendly finishing products. We also try to recycle as much of our workshop waste as possible.

RA Woodcraft produces top quality custom furniture, kitchens or any bespoke wood product for discerning clients. We work closely with the client to understand their needs and vision and then make that dream come true.

Her vision is to create a lifestyle brand of bespoke wood products that make life just that little more special and lovely.

Greenpop works to restore ecosystems and empower environmental stewards through forest restoration, urban greening, food gardening, and environmental awareness projects across Sub-Saharan Africa. Greenpop was founded in 2010 and has since planted over 174,000 trees and inspired over 150,000 active citizens across South Africa, Zambia, Malawi, and Tanzania.
